This morning we had a very special visitor. Louise Yates came to share her books and illustrations with us and the children had an opportunity to create their own illustrations.
Louise spoke to the children about what inspires her to write her stories and we discussed what inspires us to write.
Louise told the children that she practises daily in order to improve her illustrations and the children discussed what they want to be better at and if we try, try, try we can do it! Louise started to draw pictures when she was just three years old.
