Yah"We're going on a minibeast hunt and we're not scared..."
Yesterday the children in Reception all took part in a Hungry Caterpillar workshop. They demonstrated great listening skills and were fully engaged in the story teller's tale. The workshop focused on a variety of minibeasts and linked lots of stories and rhymes together.
The children worked together using their senses to find clues. Once they found the clues they stored them in a special story telling bag. At the end of the workshop the clues were used to tell a new story about minibeasts. It was a very interactive session and the children loved it.
