Broadford and the Beanstalk!

Fee Fi Fo Fum!

In reception we have been developing our understanding of the world and have been discussing the life cycle of plants. After reading ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ we got our own magic beans and planted them to observe our own beanstalks grow.

We discussed how our beans would need the right amount of water, sunlight, air and warmth to grow into tall beanstalks.

We carefully placed our magic beans into a bed of soil and used a pipette to water our beans to make sure that we didn’t over-water them!

Fran: “It needs water.”

Rubie-Rae: “I’ve made sunshine to help them grow.”

We are so excited to see how tall our beanstalks will grow and if there are any giants at the top!
