Reception: Walk to class independently

 

Last week, the Reception children enjoyed their visit from Year 1. The children in Year 1 answered lots of questions and imparted lots of information to help prepare for when they move up to Year 1. As part of their transition from Monday 5th July, we will be asking the Reception children to make their own way to their classes from the main door. This is optional for all children, however, we would highly encourage this in preparation for next year.

Key dates

Monday 5th July	Reception children to walk to class on their own from the Main Door. (Optional)
Friday 16th July	End of year reports will be sent home
Tuesday 20th July	Moving up day
Thursday 22nd July	Last day of the school year
Friday 23rd July	Inset day school closed

Walking to Class Independently 

Children will be met by a member of the Reception team at the classroom door.
