Science in Reception

The children in Apple and Aspen have been experimenting to see how food changes when we heat it, cool it or leave it to decay. During our experiment we made jelly, looked at how an apple changes as it decays, compared raw eggs to cooked eggs and toast to bread. They have been looking closely at the similarities and differences and have asked some great 'how' and 'why' questions. Well done reception!
