Tropical Wings

A big thank you to all of the parents and carers who supported us on our Tropical Wings Trip.  We couldn't have done it without you.  Also a massive thank you to Danny's Nan for buying all 90 children a pencil, to remember their day by.  The children can use these to write their recounts of their trip.

We had such a wonderful day, the children watched a wildlife show in Animal Kingdom, where they were introduced to a skunk, cockroach and bearded dragon.  They also explored the park where they had the opportunity to pet goats, watch the wallabies and lemurs being fed, meet the meerkats and walk through the beautiful butterfly enclosure.

Lilly Lockhart was amazed as she pointed to a gigantic butterfly "That's beautiful Miss"
Richie said "Can we come again?"
Ethan explained to his group "the porcupine uses its spikes to protect itself from predators like lions."
"A butterfly landed on my arm, I was really brave and still." Abdulamlik
