Reception Star Readers!

Congratulations to Maysa Basilico, Jack Weaver and Eva Akinboyse from Apple class, who received their Bookmark Reading Award for reading 10 books. Zoe Middleton, Lottie Eve, Lucas Kalmakrian, Isaac Gilmour-Woodstock, Tele Onabajo and John Owers have all now received their bronze award for reading 25 books and Summer Carruth her silver award for 50 books.

From Alder Class congratulations to  Vibha Sivakumar and Nicholas Adeniyi for receiving their Silver award for reading 50 books!

In Aspen class we had a number of reading rewards this week.  Leonard Blackburn and Freddie Davey have reached the 10 book award and received a bookmark, Nevaeh Gibb-Clark and Oliver Dodd reached their Bronze award for reading 25 books and Charlie Grant has done incredibly well and received his Silver 50 book award.

Creating a love of reading in children is potentially one of the most powerful ways of improving academic standards in school. Please record your home reading in your Child's Reading Record. Please record all of your home reading including your Child's school storybook, green and red words which you have been practising together, RWI books and any additional books you have shared together. All of these reading sessions go towards the School Reading Awards.

Please, please ensure that your children brings their reading book and diary in on their reading day!!
