Easter Egg Extravaganza

This morning, the Reception children took part in Broadford's Easter egg hunt extravaganza. The children listened carefully to the instructions and were excited to begin. Laughing and screaming, skipping and jogging, they went to find the eggs.

With Easter, just around the corner, it is wonderful to spend time with your friends and family and there's nothing more fun than an Easter egg hunt. Easter egg hunts are great fun for all children as they encourage the children's social and development skills. It was fantastic watching everyone participate in the hunt and the children enjoyed locating the eggs around the playground. These activities are essential to the development of children’s well-being, as well as learning to share and interact with others it also allows children to explore their imagination, creativity and explore the world around them.

"I've got six eggs!" shouted Mackenzie.

"Look how many eggs I've got!" exclaimed Frankie.

"I've got so many eggs!" beamed Lottie.
