Reception Awards 11.06.2021




 

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: 

Teddy, for his fantastic efforts in Read Write Inc. You have been focusing well and trying your very best! Well done Teddy! Proud of you.  


Aspen: 

Athena, in recognition of  your hard work in the RWI sessions and Topic sessions. Keep up the fantastic work Athena!


Alder:


Maiyaa, for her positive attitude to learning. Maiyaa always tries her best in everything we do in Alder class. You are a fantastic role model to your class friends.





  Star Writers 

Apple: 

Saim, for working hard to trace your phonic sounds. Fantastic effort!

Aspen: 
Henryin recognition of  working extremely hard in his RWI sessions and spellings. Keep up the fantastic work! Well done Henry!

Alder: 
Torsten, for working hard during our topic lesson. Torsten was able to use his phonic skills to write a lovely sentence about what he would like to say to the caterpillar.





Learning Power Awards
These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 

This has been awarded to:

Jorgie, for working well with your peers in maths. It is great to see you collaborating well and talking to your partner to find out the right answer. Keep it up!

Amira, for working hard during math. Amira collaborated well with her partner and worked hard to solve the maths problems.Keep up the good work!

Malik,for working hard in Maths this week. You collaborated and communicated well with your partner. Keep up the good work!





Reflectiveness 
These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

Leo, for all your hard work in Read Write Inc. It is great to see you gaining confidence and talking about your sounds. Well done!

Pippa, for her hard work our Math lessons this week. you have been able to confidently talk about teen numbers. What a maths Superstar!

Oscar, for his efforts in our Math lessons this week, you were about to confidently talk about your learning. Keep up the great work!

Adalind, for confidently talking about teen numbers during our Math lessons this week. You were able to notice the patterns within the teen numbers. Super work!





Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks.

Lucia, for always trying your very best in maths and conquering equations even when they are tricky! You are a superstar.

Adam, for working hard with his writing during our topic work, he was able to managed distractions in class and demonstrate great perseverance.

Tyler, for working hard with his writing this week, he has managed distractions in class and demonstrated great perseverance. Keep up the good work Tyler!






Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to:

Kayden, for your fantastic construction masterpiece in the loose parts area. Well done!

Blake, for using the water area toys so well with your peers. Great to see you having such a lovely time! 

Riley, for your fantastic junk modelling work. Well done Riley

Amari, for your excellent junk modelling model. Fantastic work Amari!

Pico, for being curious about his learning and has made some good links during our maths lessons this week. Fantastic effort!

Samuel, for being curious about his learning this. Samuel has really engaged in our whole class phonics lessons. What a phonics Superstar!
