How does it feel?

Nursery and Reception children explored different textures using their feet. We took our shoes and socks off and walked through stones, bark, pasta, rice, and other materials. Children discovered that the materials feel different than when they touch them with their hands. A variety of adjectives were use to describe the materials. Squidgy, sharp, hard, rough, tiny, piercing.
