The children have enjoyed using the oats in the sand tray this morning. They have been carefully filling different sized bowls using wooden spoons and have enjoyed making pretend dinners! They soon discovered that using sieves allowed the oats and the sand to be separated. The children are looking forward to using oats to make real porridge over the next two weeks whilst we are reading the story of 'Goldilocks and the three bears.'
