Nursery Newsletter 20.11.17

Thank you to all of the parent/carers who were able to attend the Stay and Play session last week. We hope you found the information useful and enjoyed spending time with your children in Nursery.
This week our focus story is 'Colour Me Happy'. We have a Storyhunt activity performed by Freshwater theatre this Wednesday. The children will learn about different celebrations through stories and games.

These are the skills we will be focusing on this week:

Snack
The children are continuing to learn to follow a simple recipe to bake cakes this week

Communication and Language
Encouraging children to use simple sentences correctly.
Encouraging children to hold a conversation and respond to comments.
We will be sharing the story ‘Colour Me Happy' and encouraging the children to re-tell this.

Understanding of the World Remembers and talks about significant events in their own experience.

Personal and Social Development
Ensuring children are able to co-operate with routines and some boundaries.
Modelling the correct behaviours in play, ensuring children use resources well and begin to share with other children.
