Careful Counting in Nursery

Nursery have been developing their mathematical skills in our counting Tuff Tray. We have been focusing on accurate counting and ensuring the children understand the last number they count is how many they have. We have learnt that if you move objects in different positions there will still be the same amount. The children have also been developing their number recognition by learning the Ten Town stories. If you are walking or scooting to school this week encourage them to look carefully at door numbers on the way and see if they can spot any they recognise!
