The Home Corner is very important area of the Nursery as through this natural context we are able to support every aspect of learning and development. It gives meaning to language and specific vocabulary and supports children's ability to describe, articulate and think about thinking.
In order to develop our home corner further we are talking about moving and building houses alongside our story 'The Three Little Pigs'. The children will help make 'For Sale' signs and pack up the equipment. We will listen to their ideas and work on a project to re-vamp the home corner together.
If you are able to donate any of the following equipment that you no longer use at home we would very much appreciate the support:
Dressing Up Clothes
- Dressing gowns, slippers, apron, old coats, hats, purses and bags, scarves.
Equipment
-Alarms, scales, spoons, pots and pans, plastic picnic plates and cups.
