Nursery children wrapped up, put on their wellies and explored the snow today. Many of the children could not remember seeing this much snow before! They commented on how sparkly and magical the field looked and were amused at the 'squeak' they could hear as they walked across in wellies.
The children enjoyed throwing snowballs, making snow towers and those who were brave enough joined Year 1 in sledding down the hill. The children finished off the sessions by enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows to warm them up.
