AM Sports Day
Well done to all the children. They coped really well with the last minute change of plans, due to the unpredictable weather conditions. We hope you enjoyed watching your children take part and it was a great opportunity for you to meet Mr Portway our sports coach.

Tropical Wings
We had a lovely day at tropical wings, the children had a great fun. We saw the biggest goat in the world and met a wallaby that tried to escape with us because they had heard how great Broadford was. Thank you to all the parents who helped.

Charlie's Miraculous Memory
Charlie has been looking at local bus numbers and their routes with his mummy at home. He was able to recite the numbers and the routes to the nursery staff. What a wonderful memory! Well done Charlie!

Apple Class find the Gruffalo!
Apple Class had a fantastic day learning outdoors. First they found a squirrel up a tree, then a mouse eating a nut that was good. Using their sense of smell they found the fox in his underground house. Crossing the bridge and talking owl language, they soon found the owl. The children then completed a tree rubbing activity before hunting for the snake in his log pile house. It wasn't long before they spotted the Gruffalo's child and then the Gruffalo himself. After lunch they used their teamwork skills to build mouse huts before playing hide and seek in the woods.
What a fantastic day, using resources in the outdoor environment to stimulate the children's interests and curiosity.
A big thank you to all the adults who helped make the day run so smoothly
