Pet Pictures for Nursery

The children have loved learning about animals and enjoyed their visit from a special tiger this week! We spoke about the mobile farm that will be visiting the school in March. The children have been keen to share information about their own pets, if you have any photos please send them in or email them to eyfs@broadford.havering.sch.uk. Or if you have a special pet who would like to visit the children this term please speak to a member of the Nursery staff so we can arrange this!

Learning to put our coats on

Nursery have all been working hard to learn to put their own coats on over their time at Broadford. They can all find their coat pegs and hang them up independently now. They are now focusing on learning to put on those coats properly and zip them up themselves! The children have shown resilience and have kept trying, they are very eager to have a go themselves so their names can go up the chart.

Nursery Learning Challenge

A big well done to Zuriel, Caitlin and Ava who have been busy researching animals for their learning challenge. Ava created her own Parrot to show everybody, she showed fantastic cutting skills as she cut round the parrot herself. Zuriel created a tiger picture and was keen to share her knowledge on tiger's with the staff and children. Caitlin researched sea creatures from the film 'Finding Dory' she carefully created pictures of these by drawing around her hands and adding details. The learning challenge is on the notice board outside Nursery and on the newsletter if your child would like to create their own masterpiece to add to our display!
