The 'Smoothie Bike' in Reception

The Reception children had great fun celebrating Comic Relief.  Thank you for all of your donations for the charity event.  It is important for children to take part in charity events, as this helps to develop their understanding of the needs of others.  

All of the Reception children went outside to see the smoothie bike in action, we were very lucky to have some year 6 helpers as we couldn't quite reach the pedals!  We had great fun adding the ingredients (fruit and juice) and peddling the bike to blend the fruit.  The children demonstrated reciprocity as they cheered their peers on, its was a great team building tool.  Iyinope said "It was funny went Miss Poulter got on the bike".
