Dear Parents,

We have been invited to attend Jump Evolution for a one hour PE lesson, free of charge.  This will be taking place on Monday 5th February.  If you are available to help chaperone the children there and back in the afternoon on this day please speak to your class teacher.  We have been advised by Jump Evolution, for Health and Safety reason all parent helpers will have to remain in the cafe, which has a viewing gallery for the one hour session.
The children will be reading  The Three Little Pigs this week and carrying out planned linked activities such as designing houses, retelling the story and recording ideas.

        Learning Challenge
Each half term we will be setting our pupils a challenge related to their learning. We believe that it is     important for us to provide guidance for parents on how their children's learning can be extended at home.
The learning challenge will include either a nursery rhyme, famous person, illustration or a piece of music.    Please talk to your child about the challenge and help them to engage in their learning. The children can choose how they present their learning challenge outcomes to their teacher or class.
This is an ongoing activity that should take place over a  number of weeks, it should be the children’s own work (supported by the parents) and it needs to be brought into school by the latest on Friday 2nd February so that we can organise the certificates.
