Dear Parents,

You have been given a time for a parent meeting with teachers, the first meeting is a chance to talk about how the children are progressing, what the end of year expectations are and to answer any questions you may have about your child's development. We look forward to meeting with you all, if you are unable to make the time given please speak to a member of the Nursery team so we can re-schedule your appointment.

This Friday we a hosting very special day to raise money for Children in Need.

This will include lots of fun events including:
Coin race - over the next week or so can you try to bring in any spare copper coins you have. Let’s see which class wins!
Teddy bear’s afternoon tea - The children will be given a timeslot to go to the hall for afternoon tea. Each cake/biscuit will cost between 20-50p and the children can then enjoy their treat with their teddies and friends. This event will be in the afternoon but Morning parents who wish to attend with their children can come at 2.20. Afternoon parents can attend at
We will be having our own in class Teddy Parties so Morning and Afternoon children can bring their teddy for their session on Friday.

Non-uniform day with a theme - The theme is yellow or polka dots - or both! The children can wear their own clothes and jazz them up with polka dots or wear yellow clothing. If you are struggling to find clothing to match the theme a simple idea would be to draw polka dots on a plain t-shirt. If you would like to add Pudsey accessories to your outfit feel free! We ask that you contribute £1 per family to this great cause if your child is in non-uniform and any further donations are welcome.

Communication and Language
The children are playing listening games to encourage them to hear sounds and sequence the order they hear sounds.

This children enjoyed setting up an Autumn inspired tuff tray last week. We added dried ingredients such as peas, red lentils, chickpeas and pumpkins along with different sized containers and scoops.
