Reception - Thursday Morning Drop Off!

Reception - Thursday Morning Drop Off

This post if for those who we have confirmed are starting on Thursday 18th June - 9:30am

Dear parents and Carers,

We are looking forward to welcoming back some of our children on Thursday!

Morning drop off - 9.30am

We will not be using our usual gates to enter the school. You will enter through the large gate on Farringdon Avenue (near the new building). Please remember just one adult per family and to observe social distancing whist queuing to enter.

You will then head to the playground and stand on your colour dot, please be aware of other families and keep your distance.

If you are in Blue 1 bubble with Miss Poulter and Mrs Eve, you will need to line up on the first line of blue spots.

If you are in Blue 2 bubble with Mrs Gradley and Mrs Potter, you will need to line up on the second line of blue spots.

If you are in Yellow 1 bubble with Miss Metters and Mrs Ngenge, you will need to line up on the first line of yellow spots.

If you are in Yellow 2 bubble with Mrs Hathaway and Mrs Jackson, you will need to line up on the second line of yellow spots.

If you are in Red 1 bubble with Mrs Hallowell, Miss Davies and Miss Tracey, you will need to line up on the first line of red spots.

If you are in Red 2 bubble with Miss Mullan and Miss Martin, you will need to line up on the second line of red spots.

Pick up

When picking up your child, you will do exactly the same thing. You will enter through the gate, walk down to the playground and wait on the same colour spot as you did in the morning. At 3.15pm, the teachers will walk the the children out. When we can see their adult standing on the spot, we will send the children to their adult one at a time.

Things to remember
  • Water bottle (named)
  • Spare clothes to stay in school if not already there
  • School will provide pack lunches for all Reception children. If bringing a pack lunch, ensure it is in a named plastic bag.
  • Children will need to be wearing a clean set of clothes every day. If your child no longer fits in their uniform, they can wear other clothing. Please be sensible with clothing as we will still have messy play and painting but won't be able to put aprons on and we will also be outside.
  • Please leave all other bags, toys, books and belongings at home.

We look forward to seeing lots of smiling faces on Thursday Morning!

Many thanks,
The Reception Team
