Term: Summer 1 Date 11.04.16
We hope you all managed to have a lovely break and
thank you for all of your photos of your holiday activities. Our new topic is Fun in the Sun, and the
children have asked to look at Pirates.
Mrs Chisholm has been busy turning the role play corner into a Pirate haven;
we look forward to developing language and social skills in there!
We will be reading Gilbert the Hero and singing 5 Little
Fish and a Sailor went to Sea Sea Sea.
We have decided to spend the next few weeks
recapping the phoneme which we have already covered, therefore this week we
will be recapping s, a and m.
Personal, Social and Emotional
- Shows confidence in asking
adults for help

Communication and Language
- Identifies action words by
pointing to the right picture e.g. 'Who's jumping?'
- Uses talk to connect

Nursery
Learning Challenge Summer 1
The learning challenge will include either a nursery rhyme,
illustration or a piece of music. Please talk to your child about the challenge
and help them to engage in their learning. The children can choose how they
present their learning challenge outcomes to their teacher or class however the
table below details some ideas for the learning challenge.

When we return we will be collecting the termly, voluntary
£1 snack money. We will also have taken
the pictures off the children’s register names; this will help the children
