Important Information

Nappies and wipes - If your child is in nappies and requires changing in Nursery please bring nappies and also a pack of wipes. You can bring in a pack and leave this here if you would prefer to do this.

Coats, wellies, gloves and hats - As we are outside often we would advise the children to wrap up warm. Please do help us by labeling anything the children bring in as then we can help return any missing items to the correct owner! Please also encourage the children to independently try and put on their coats and hats etc at home, staff will always help if needed but we always encourage independence.

Havering Children's Centre- The Havering Children's Centre are currently trying to ensure that all families with children under 5 years of age are registered with their local children's centre. We encourage you to register your child as this will help with their development and wellbeing.

Our Learning

This week we have been reading 'When a Dragon loves Christmas'. The children took part in the nursery Christmas perfromance. The children have been practing so well for the past few weeks and did such an amazing job in front of their parents and carers.

The children have completed lots of different Christmas crafts this week. They have enjoyed joing different materials together to make things that they see during the season.

The children enjoyed the festive activities at their very own Winterwonderland. They decorated biscuits, made reindeer food, made Christmas ornaments and ended the session with a cup of hot chocolate and a Christmas story.

Last week the children posted their Christmas cards on thier trip to the post box. We hope everyone has received their cards. The children enjoyed making them and carefully wrote their name in their card.
The children have been continuing to use their name cards to recognise their names as well as practicing how to hold their pens or pencils using a tripod grip.
