Nursery Learning- 18.7.25

End of Year Message

It’s that time of year again when we say goodbye to many of our wonderful children as they take the exciting step into Reception.

We’ve had such an incredible year together, full of laughter, learning, and lots of special moments. From the very first day, we’ve watched the children grow in confidence, make new friendships, explore their creativity, and develop so many new skills. Whether it was messy play, story time, singing and dancing, or discovering the world around them, each day has brought something new and joyful.

It has been a privilege to be part of their journey and to see just how far they’ve come. Although we’ll be truly sad to see them go, we know they’re more than ready for this next chapter and we couldn't be prouder.

To all our parents, thank you for being so amazing this year. Your support, encouragement, and kind words have meant the world to us.

We wish all the children the very best as they begin this exciting new adventure in Reception. They will be truly missed!

To all of our lovely children who are staying with us next year, we hope you have a fantastic summer!

While you're off enjoying your holidays, we'll be busy giving the nursery a little makeover. We're adding some exciting new things, and we can’t wait for you to see them when you come back in September.

We’re already looking forward to another fun-filled year with you!

The children aren’t the only ones heading off on exciting new adventures…

Our wonderful Miss Onabiyi will also be leaving us at the end of this term as she takes a big and exciting step in her career, she’s off to teach in Dubai!

While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are also so proud of her. Miss Onabiyi has been such a valued member of our team, always bringing energy, warmth, and a smile to everything she does. She has made such a difference to so many children, creating joyful learning experiences, building strong bonds, and helping them to grow in confidence and curiosity.

Her kindness, creativity, and passion for teaching have left a lasting impression on all of us, and she will be truly missed by children, families, and staff alike.

We’re sure there are lots of exciting adventures ahead, and we can’t wait to hear all about them.

Congratulations, Miss Onabiyi, Dubai is lucky to have you! Wishing you every success and happiness in this next chapter. You’ll be amazing!

This week, the children took part in our exciting and very colourful Colour Run and what an amazing time we all had!

It was a day full of energy, laughter, and lots of mess, just how we like it! Some of our children chose a calmer, sensory approach, using their hands to explore paint and experiment with colour mixing. They enjoyed moving to music, blowing bubbles, and getting creative at their own pace. It was a beautiful, calming way to experience colour in a hands-on and joyful way.

Others embraced the full Colour Run challenge, running, giggling, and dashing through the course as bursts of brightly coloured powder were thrown in the air (and onto them!) at different points. There was so much excitement, cheering, and colour everywhere you looked. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to be active, express themselves, and most importantly, have loads of fun with their friends.

It was wonderful to see every child enjoying the event in their own unique way, whether they were quietly painting or racing through clouds of colour. You’ll definitely be able to tell who chose which option when you see the photos… there were some very colourful faces and clothes by the end of the day!
