We kindly ask that each child has at least one full change of clothes (including underwear and socks) kept on their peg while they are in nursery. These can be left here and replaced as needed.
Recently, we’ve noticed that some of our nursery clothes are not being returned after use, which means we are running very low on spares. We completely understand that accidents and messy play happen every day, but to make sure every child is comfortable and cared for, it’s important that each child has their own spare set available.
If a child needs changing and we do not have any nursery clothes or personal spares available, we will need to contact you to bring in a change of clothes for them.
We would also like to say a big thank you to all the families who have kindly donated clothes that their children no longer need. Your generosity really helps us to keep our nursery well-stocked and supports all of our little learners.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support in helping us keep every child happy, clean, and comfortable during their busy nursery day!
Nursery Learning

This week, the children have been having a wonderful time playing a variety of group games in our nursery garden. They’ve particularly enjoyed taking part in parachute games, where they worked together to lift, wave, and bounce soft balls in the air — lots of laughter and teamwork all around! Duck Duck Goose was another big favourite, encouraging the children to take turns, listen carefully, and move quickly as they dashed around the circle. We also sang classic songs such as Ring-a-Rosies, which brought plenty of smiles as everyone joined hands and moved together.
Through these fun, active games, the children have been developing important social and physical skills, such as cooperation, communication, balance, and coordination. It’s been lovely to see their confidence growing as they share, take turns, and support one another during play.
