Term: Summer 1 Date: 29.04.14
The visit from the ‘Bug Man’ was fantastic last week. The children had a wonderful time, every child had an opportunity to look at and hold some mini beasts from around the world such as a tarantula, stick-insect and locus.
We also had a some special visitors. We were delivered a batch of eggs, complete with an incubator, and have enjoyed spending time handling the chicks.
Finally we said goodbye to our class butterflies, we have had them since they arrived as tiny caterpillars.
The story this week will be, ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ and the songs will be, ‘Ladybird Ladybird’ and ‘Incy Wincy Spider’.
