These children have been very busy reading at home. Well done to Shajia, Madalina, Augustas and Amy who have reached 75 books, their books arrived today!
It is great to see so much reading taking place at home, it really does make an impact on your childs ability in all areas of learning. Furthermore so many of the children are demonstrating that they can read and write those tricky red words now. Keep up your amazing hard work at home parents!
Red words
A reminder:
Your child needs to be able to recognise these red words on sight so that they become a confident and fluent reader. Some words are only ‘red’ words until your child has learnt that sound. Please practice reading these words by sight with your child when you read at home.
