Diwali Dance Workshop!

Reception started off this week's topic of Diwali in style, with a dance workshop. It was great for the children's gross motor control, but they also used their listening and attention skills, following directions closely from the dance teacher. After practicing their Diwali dance the children got to perform it to the other half of the class. The audience was great, watching politely and applauding the dancers. This afternoon we read the story of Rama and Sita and we will continue to learn about Diwali this week.
