The learning challenge will include either a nursery rhyme, illustration or a piece of music. Please talk to your child about the challenge and help them to engage in their learning. The children can choose how they present their learning challenge outcomes to their teacher or class.

Messages.

We will be making toast with the children this week, they will be offered butter, jam or marmalade please speak to a member of staff if there is any reason your child can not eat this.

We would also appreciate it if you explain to your children that they are only allowed 1 carton of milk per session.  Some children are helping themselves to 4.  This obviously means other children go without.

You are welcome to start borrowing books from our reading cart.  This will be out at the beginning of each session.  Please only borrow 1 book at a time.  Simply record it in your child’s borrowing book.  There are also reading reviews to complete with your child if you wish.

You may have noticed our display above the coat hooks. 'I can put my coat on'.   We are trying to encourage the children's independence skills, as we notice that they can put their own coats on we will put their photo on the board.  Once this has been achieved by most of the children we will change the objective.

We regularly update our EYFS blog. Please like our Broadford Primary Facebook page every time you see an EYFS blog. Feel free to make a comment on the children’s experiences.
