Nursery Nocturnal Animals

The afternoon nursery children made nocturnal animals in the malleable area using play dough, sticks, beads, feathers and googly eyes.  As you can see we had some amazing creations including owls, bats, foxes, hedgehogs and a few badgers.  Not only does this activity aid the children's fine motor skills by picking up tiny pieces to place on their animals but also helps to enrich their language by developing a range of vocabulary.  The children also had great fun in the process.
