We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception!
These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.
E for Excellence
Apple: Cruz, for his fantastic behaviour and for being an excellent role model. You set an excellent example in all of the lessons.
Aspen: Scarlet, for your excellent work in Read, Write, Inc. You have been working hard in the word time and spelling sessions at school! Great work Scarlet.
Alder: Edward for his communication skills. Edward said the names of all of his classmates as he posted their Christmas cards in our class postbox.
Star Writers
Apple: Qhaleed, for working hard on your letter formation and your descriptive ‘Bedtime for Monsters’ writing.
Aspen: Adarsh for your excellent 'Bedtime for Monsters' independent descriptive writing. Well done Adarsh!
Alder: Samuel has worked hard to practice writing his numbers from 1-10 and was able to complete almost all of them independently. We are very proud of Samuel.
Learning Power Awards
Reciprocity: Recognises that children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. This week it has been awarded to: Ite and Ayla.
Reflectiveness: Recognises the children that have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. This week it has been awarded to: Aadya, Aryaan and Maalik
Resourcefulness: Recognises children who have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. This week it has been awarded to: Isabella
