Meet our new friends!

The children in Reception have been learning about Autumn. They have enjoyed a story about a hedgehog and have had great fun creating their own! The children used the clay to explore a malleable material by patting, stroking, poking, squeezing, pinching and twisting. We dicsussed what a hedgehog would feel like and encouraged the children to use WOW words such as, spikey, prickly, rough and pointy. The children used sticks to create a spikey effect.
