EYFS Wishing Tree - What do you want for your children?

During our home visits our parents/carers spoke of the hopes they had for their children. These thoughts were then written onto leaves and displayed in our entrance hall. Although every leaf was different, there were many similar threads running through the things that parents and children wanted us to provide:

• they should be able to count to 20
• we should making learning fun for the children
• to be confident at speaking to adults
• able to write their own name
• to make lots of new friends
