Local area walk

This week the children in Reception have been basing their learning around the story of 'Handa's Surprise.' They have all been on a local area walk. We have been looking at the similarities and differences in relation to places, objects, materials and living things. We have been discussing the features of our own immediate environment and how our environments  are different from where Handa lives in Africa.
