The Great Broadford Bake Off!

The children arrived in school yesterday morning to discover the role play area was looking a little different. A bakery had arrived! The area has been busy all day, with children tripping over each other to put on an apron and hat and we've seen some great role plays and turn taking. The bakery links in well to our topic story this week, the little red hen. In the story the little red hen, asks the other animals for help baking bread, but they aren't always keen to help. We've been discussing how sometimes we need to ask for help, and also that helping others is a kind thing to do.
