Celebrating Chinese New Year in Nursery

The morning children watched the story of Chinese New Year. We like to explore all different cultures and beliefs within the EYFS.  This helps the children develop an understanding of similarities and differences. They have been making lanterns and they found out about different foods the Chinese eat when celebrating. The children all got the opportunity to taste a vegetable stir fry, some children enjoyed this whilst others did not.
