Another special visitor...PC Hopkins

PC Hopkins, is our Local Safer Schools Officer.  He came in to chat to the children about his role in the community. He talked about how important his hat is. It is big so that he is visible from a long distance. He asked the children to guess how many police officers there are, we had lots of guesses, 5, 2 an 3.... but actually there are about 32000 police offices in the MET.  We got an opportunity to listen to a message on the radio, from other police officers. We also found out about each officers special code which identifies them, the children found it really interesting!
