'Our Super Story Video' by The Nursery Children

Here is a little video to brighten your Monday! Over the past few weeks Nursery children have been busy completing one of our learning challenges; to tell their own story! The story had to include a character, a setting, a problem and a solution. Some children used their teacher's ideas and some children created their own. We think they are all fantastic and are very proud of all the children and the parents that helped.

Reading stories is so important to support children to tell their own stories. Reading will help them to develop new language, begin to use their imagination and learn about characters and plots. It's also a simple way to give a child a little bit of magic in what might be a difficult time for them. Please make sure part of your routine is reading a story. If you are struggling to access books while libraries are closed you can watch Miss Tynan's story on this weeks blog and you could also use Cbeebies. Try and watch it with your child and talk about what happened after.

If you have your own story we haven't seen yet you can comment below or send it to Evidence Me or eyfs@broadford.havering.sch.uk.
