Easter Fun in
Reception.

WOW! What fun we had on the last day of term!

The children arrived to school looking amazing in their Easter hats.  The children (and parents) worked hard at home designing and creating their Easter hats.  The children loved posing for a photo in their hats!

They had great fun throughout the day completing lots of Easter crafts, making their Easter cards for their families, completing the Easter egg hunt.

The children enjoyed listening to the Christian story of Easter.

During the morning reception went to the hall for the Easter hat parade. Mrs Nicholls and Mrs Stanley chose a 'best Easter hat' for each class.

A huge well done to
Emma, Alfie and Isabelle.

There was a lot of excitement towards the end of lunch, a few children had seen the Easter bunny hopping through some of the reception classes.  When the children returned to class after lunch they found a wrapped box with a  message from the Easter Bunny.

The message read

 'Dear Reception,
I have left a surprise for you. If you want to know what it inside,
please write me a letter and then you can open me at the end of the day,

Love from the Easter Bunny xx"

The children were so excited by this and rushed to write a letter back to the Easter bunny.  It was lovely to see every child so focused on their letters.

We finished the end of the day and the spring term with a visit from the Easter bunny.
