Focus play this week:

This week the children have been working on talking turns during our singing activity. Each person chose their favourite instrument and named it from our basket. By the end of the game the children had learned a new song, identified the names of instruments and took turns playing their instrument along side their friends.

Book of the week:

This week the children have been listening to the book Colour me happy. The children really enjoyed naming the colours and discussing our emotions. Some of the children were able to discuss the similarities and differences between Colour me happy and our zones of regulation we use to check in with our emotions at nursery.

Christmas concert:

The children have been practicing for their Christmas concert on Monday 4th December. We kindly ask parents if they can please practice singing the songs at home.
Thank you

We wish you a Merry Christmas

Our learning fun this week:

This week the children have been busy making their special Christmas hats for our Christmas concert using glitter, glue and all the fun things children love at this time of year.

We can't wait to see as many of you on Monday as possible.
