Reception Home Learning Timetable

Good Morning Reception and welcome back! Please see the timetable below for today's Reception home learning. Families can decide the best times for these to take place. However, we recommend that the children only sit and work for half an hour maximum at a time. Younger children can find it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time. It is recommended to have breaks between the sessions.

Phonics RWI (Speed sound session 15 minutes) (Word and Spelling Time & Ditty Reading  30 minutes  Click here for RWI Online Ditty Books  The ditties can be read 1 per day as part of your child’s daily reading. Maths (30 minutes) Recap: All about number 10   Practice your Number 10 formation Today we are looking at ordering numbers from 0-10. Parents: Challenge your child by  removing  a number from their ordered numbers. Ask them if they can  spot the missing number?	Topic (30 minutes) Read or listen to the story -The Gingerbread Man. Look at the Vocab Slides that link to this week's story.	End of day Story (10 minutes) Story time with Mrs Gradley Story time with Mrs Hathaway Story time with Miss Hurrell
