Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for your continued support. It has been a pleasure to see all of the hard work your children have been completing. We understand that you will be working differently and balancing your own jobs at home, siblings and child! You are doing an amazing job! Great work everyone! 

Remote learning will be posted using the school blog page and available on our Facebook page daily. The Reception team will be contacting you this week with google classroom login details. (These numbers may be withheld as staff are working remotely.) The Parents' Guide to Google Classroom.

We encourage you to send two pieces of work which can be submitted using the  Evidence Me app, or emailing the EYFS mailbox at eyfs@broadford.havering.sch.uk . (You can add more than one photo or video to your parent postcard or email). The Reception Team will then provide feedback, children (and adults) can ask their teachers questions. Examples of submitted work are pictures, drawings, writing, video clips or creative work which can be sent as a photo or video clip using the Evidence Me app. Evidence Me Parent Guide.

Daily Routine

Here is a copy of our daily routine.

Reception Daily Timetable

8:30-9:05am	Child Led Play (including tidy up time and transition) Individual reading with an adult. (Including name writing, number formation 0-9 and three cvc words from text.)
9:10-9:50am	Phonics
9:50-11:05am	Child Led Play (including tidy up time and transition) & Group adult led activity
11:05-11:45am	Maths (including transition, tidy up and getting ready for lunch.)
11:45-12:45pm	Lunch
12:45-1:15pm	Topic (Includes daily topic story)
1-15-2:25pm	Child Led Play (including tidy up time and transition) & Group adult led activity
2:25-2:40pm	Tidy up and transition. Reflection of Learning (this includes show and tells, and oral storytelling.)
2:40-3pm	Story time Home

There are lots of new websites providing additional online learning and support during this period of school closure.

• RWI Phonics YouTube Daily RWI Sessions. Reception currently follow Set 1 sound sessions. 

• Oak National Academy Reception taught sessions.

• BBC Bitesize Lessons from the BBC

• PE with Joe Wicks Joe Wicks has just announced he will be starting his sessions weekly again.
