Term: Autumn 1 Date 21.10.13
The children have really been involved with the fruit and vegetable topic. They have helped to create a Greengrocers in the class room, which they have all enjoyed using. The learning opportunities have been endless. They have developed language, communication, numeracy and creative skills to state but a few.
We will be making fruit smoothies this week with the children. We have of course checked all of the dietary forms, that have been returned. However please advise us if there is any dietary information we need to be aware of.
The children have expressed an interest in Mr Bloom’s Nursery. We agreed this was a great idea as it links to our topic, so this will be developed throughout the week in the outside area.

Thank you to all of the parents who have already begun to borrow books. We have already had a number of book reviews back and these have been displayed in the reading area. There is a book for each of you to record the book you have borrowed these will be left outside next to books. Please record the name of the book, the date you borrowed it and simply tick when you have returned it.
Most of the children now have wellingtons; however we still have a few children who do not have a change of clothes in school please ensure your child has a spare set of clothes. As previously explained our spare clothes have not been returned.
Thank you for your continued support.
