Reception Newsletter 18.1.16

Term:  Spring 1                        Date 18.1.16

The children will be learning to be Superheroes themselves this week! We are focusing on the story 'Superhero School'. We will be encouraging the children to think about their own talents and setting up Superhero School challenges in the outdoor area. The children will need to use Resilience, Reciprocity, Reflectiveness and Resourcefulness to complete the challenges.

On Thursday the children will have a circus skills workshop. As well as teaching the children some amazing circus skills the focus will be on team work and listening skills. At the end of the day parents are welcome to come to the New Hall and join in with the children for a short session.

Personal, Social and Emotional

The children will need to show reciprocity to complete the Superhero challenges. We will be modelling how to listen carefully in a small group and share their ideas.
