We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception!
These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.
E for Excellence
Apple: Ryan for being a fantastic role model to his classmates.
Aspen: Aniah-Mai for her excellent effort during Read, Write, Inc and for working hard during the sessions.
Alder: Pippa for her excellent work in Read, Write, Inc and working hard to learn and blend her sounds.
Star Writers
Apple: Sonny, for his fantastic initial sound writing work. Great job Sonny!
Aspen: Elsie, for her excellent ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’ initial sound writing. Well done Elsie!
Alder: Nashwan, for using his initial sounds to write some lovely sentences! Excellent effort!
Learning Power Awards
Reciprocity: Recognises that children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. This week it has been awarded to Callissya.
Resourcefulness: Recognises children who have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. This week it has been awarded to: Lucas, Joseph, Adam, Qualeed.
