We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception!
These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.
E for Excellence

Aspen: Ava, for her excellent partner work and reasoning skills in the math sessions.
Alder: Maalik, for his great communication skills this week. Lovely seeing you grow in confidence!
Star Writers
Apple: Ivan, for an amazing effort with writing cvc words to describe the characters in our story.
Aspen: Nikita, for your fantastic same and different animal writing inspired by our topic book, Blue Penguin.
Alder: Ite, for his amazing effort in Read, Write, Inc. this half term. Keep up the hard work!
Learning Power Awards
Reciprocity: Recognises that children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. This week it has been awarded to Carter and Adalind.
Reflectiveness: Recognises the children that have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. This week it has been awarded to Amaira and Sultan.
Resilience: Recognises that children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patters and been absorbed in their task. This week it has been awarded to Edward and Samuel.
Resourcefulness: Recognises children who have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. This week it has been awarded to: Andreea, Torsten and Tyler.
