This week in maths, the children built on their understanding of full and empty to show half full, nearly full and nearly empty. The children were provided opportunities to explore capacity using different sized containers and different materials such as water and sand. We focused on using our key vocabulary to accurately describe the amounts of each material in the different sized containers.
Take a look at the activities the children completed within the provison.
