Outdoor fun:

We moved our physical fun into the school hall this week during rainy play, where we practised rolling hula hoops, playing musical games and singing counting songs using the big parachute.

The children loved discussing the rainy weather this week. We discussed light and heavy rain showers. The children wanted to measure the rain, using a measuring cylinder we placed it in the rain and they waited and watched with patience to see the water level rise.

The children have loved experiementing with cause and effect this week, using wind to see how objects move. The children have been exploring streamers and paper aeroplanes.

Fun with Maths:

The children had fun strengthening their number bond knowledge.

Children in need:

The children had fun taking part in our children in need activities and dressing in in spotty clothing and odd socks.
