We would like to thank you for your continued support and ask for your help with an important nursery matter.
We have noticed that many children are currently coming to nursery without spare clothes. We are always happy to help children change if they have a toileting accident, become wet during water play, or need a change of clothes for any other reason. However, our supply of spare nursery clothing is becoming very limited.
Firstly, we would be grateful if you could check at home for any nursery clothing that may have been sent home in error. This includes items such as trousers, tops, socks and underwear. If you do have any nursery items, please return them to us as soon as possible.
Secondly, we kindly ask that every child has at least one complete set of spare clothes in nursery at all times, although two sets would be preferable. These do not need to be school uniform. Please also remember to replenish any spare clothing that has been used so that your child always has a change of clothes available when needed.
With over 70 children attending nursery each day, your support is essential in helping us ensure that every child can continue to access all of the exciting learning opportunities we provide. We would also kindly ask that all clothing, including spare clothes, coats, socks and underwear, is clearly named. With so many children in nursery, it can be very difficult to identify and return items that are not labelled, and naming clothing helps us ensure that belongings are returned to the correct child as quickly as possible.
As part of our daily provision, water play will be available to all children. We encourage every child to participate, and therefore we are unable to accommodate requests for children to opt out of water play on a particular day. To ensure children can take part comfortably, please make sure they have appropriate spare clothing available( hot weather/cold weather). If a child does not have suitable spare clothes and needs changing, we may need to contact you and ask that clothing is brought into nursery.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Our aim is always to provide the very best learning experiences for your children, and your help with this makes a real difference.
Kind regards,
The Nursery Team
Fun in the sun!
