Nursery: Parent and Carer Wellbeing; Pilates!

 Dear Parents and Carers,

Following on from yesterday's blog, during this time it is especially important to look after ourselves to keep a positive wellbeing.

We hope that yesterday's post inspired you to take some time out of your day just to do something for you!

Mrs Light is not only a Nursery Nurse but also a qualified Pilates Teacher!  She said, "Pilates is good for your mind and your body; it focusses on your core muscles to help with good posture. It is good for your wellbeing and helps you to relax by controlled breathing techniques."

Join in with Mrs Light's Stretch and Tone Pilates class for free and from your own home, all you need is a space, use a towel if you don't have a carpet or exercise mat. Here is the link:

Miss Cumming has taken time out for herself to read, "Yesterday, I made some time in the evening when all my jobs were done to just sit down and read. I had forgotten how nice it is to get into a book and I have actually tried something different this time that my cousin recommended. Rather than my usual choice, I am reading a non-fiction book called 'Rich Dad Poor Dad', written by one of the wealthiest men alive, Robert T. Kiyosaki. It offers some practical advice around money and explains lots about finances and a positive mindset that I didn't know before! I would highly recommend it."

Following yesterday's Empowering Parents Empowering Communities video about what Looking after Yourself really means, here is another parent explaining why you must look after yourself:
